Individuals who are involved with the Adult Programs at JESS have a wide array of services available to them. Assistance can be obtained in finding and keeping a job. In addition, job coaching is available to individuals who need extra support on their jobs. A job coach actually goes on the job with the individual until that person is able to perform all tasks independently.

Job Retention is a program for JESS customers who are employed and who want to improve their job situations and work on long-term career goals. Ongoing supports are provided to customers for as long as they are employed.

Referrals to these programs come from the schools, the St Louis Regional Center, the Missouri Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), and other adult service providers. Customers DO NOT NEED to have an open case with DVR.
